Background

1987
|
The O’Driscoll O’Neil Group was formed with offices in Ballsbridge. The initial staff of 3 provided clients with commercial and personal lines insurance.

1989
|
The Life and Pensions department was created.
|
1991
|
The company moved offices to 17 Herbert Place, Dublin 2.
|
1992
|
We acquired Glendine Insurance Services.
|
1993
|
A second commercial insurance department was created. We achieved both the ISO 9002 and Q Mark. We were the first insurance brokers in Ireland and the UK to achieve these standards. We acquired Gerry O’Brien Insurances.

1994
|
Due to company growth 18 Herbert Place was also acquired. We acquired Enda McGuill Insurances.

1995
|
The Sports department was created.
|
1998
|
The Corporate Risk Management department was created.
|
1999
|
We acquired Lifewise Ltd.

2000
|
We became an independent Authorised Advisor for the Central Bank.

2002
|
The Mortgages department was created.

2003
|
We acquired Penlife Ltd.

2006
|
We acquired Murray Kilmurray Ltd.

2007
|
Current staff of 40 has over 8,000 square feet of office space. We acquired AP Porter Ltd. We maintain our services in line with ISO 9001:2000 standards and we are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. Alliance created with Sportscover Europe.

We acquired Priorite Consulting.

We acquired PJT Insurance Services Ltd.
