Events and Festivals

For many years now, we`ve been at the forefront of arranging the insurance needs of festivals and events across Ireland. From the St Patricks Day Parades to the Galway and Kilkenny Arts Festivals, from Feile An Phobal to Waterford Spraoi, we cater for all sorts of indoor and outdoor events.

AOIFE

The Association of Irish Festivals and Events (AOIFE) is an all-island voluntary network organisation that brings together festival organisers as well as suppliers, sponsors and policy makers. Established in 1993, it now has over 400 festivals and events and more than 100 corporate and individual members.

O’Driscoll O’Neil have put in place a public liability insurance scheme specifically for festivals and events. For the majority of AOIFE members, we can now offer a saving of 50% on their premium.

The AOIFE yearbook is recognised as the essential reference for festival and event organisers and suppliers. It contains a full directory of acts, agencies, street entertainers, marquee and PA suppliers as well as the contact details of all AOIFE members and general information.

Together, AOIFE and O’Driscoll O’Neil organise an annual conference that includes presentations and workshops on a variety of topics such as funding, insurance, sponsorship, health and safety. A key feature of the conference is the attendance of speakers from European and North American festivals to share their experiences.
